
great tribute and history of pinball
Very informative and easy to watch documentary. Great job! It shows what happened to Williams pinball. Go rent it today or buy it.
Informational but amateur
Being a huge fan of pinball and its history, as well as documentaries, I was extremely excited to watch "Tilt: The Battle to Save Pinball". That excitement was very quickly doused upon actually viewing this film.
The entire running time of the movie barely cracks an hour, but it's about 55 minutes too long as, literally, the entire story from beginning to end is told in voice over exposition before the title sequence even appears. Since it is incomprehensible that a movie would actually give away the ending, it made sense to keep watching to see what kinds of twists and turns would generate the unforeseen surprises that make this a compelling story -- but no. There was nothing presented that actually contributed to the overall story in any way but to mercilessly draw it out to an hour.
The film as a whole seemed to be comprised of separate pieces that didn't fit together in any way. The music, though original, seemed to be tacked on and didn't support any...
