Was Expecting More
This simply has 3 self contained episodes just like the TV series. The first one was pretty good and entertaining for adults and children alike. The second one however was just explaining about the different types of dragons, mostly with low quality animation. It wasn't bad but it's more of a special feature than an episode. The third one was just an episode that already was on the original movie in the special features (The Bonenapper episode), so it was just a repeat.
If there had been 3 new episodes, like the first one, then I would have given 4 stars. Maybe even if the 3rd one wasn't a repeat. That was not the case however and I essentially paid $4 to rent a single 20 minute new episode from the TV series (which is a good series by the way). It was just a poor value.
Not entirely what I expected
As another reviewer pointed out, this is a combo of 3 short episodes. The first one was alright; the second one was complete rubbish, and the third one left quite a bit to be desired as well.
Disappointing
Looked great in HD but wasn't at all like the first one and pretty much a disappointment over all, wish we waited for it on Netflix
